AI Literacy for the Next Generation

Give students the confidence to think with AI.

Ingenii Education helps Nigerian secondary school students understand AI, question what it produces, and use it to create, solve problems and learn responsibly.

Inside an Ingenii Session

Students don't just use AI. They learn how to think with it.

Ingenii brings practical AI literacy into the classroom through guided activities, discussion, experimentation and project work.

  • Explore how AI appears in everyday life
  • Question AI answers, errors, bias and misinformation
  • Practise responsible prompting and research
  • Create work they can explain, evaluate and present
The Ingenii Approach

Learn. Question. Create.

AI literacy is not simply knowing which button to press. Ingenii teaches students how to understand the technology, evaluate its output and use it purposefully.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Build the foundation

What AI is, how AI systems learn, where students encounter AI and what makes an AI system different from a human thinker.

02 / QUESTION

Develop judgement

Students examine errors, hallucinations, bias, misinformation, deepfakes, privacy, copyright and the limits of AI-generated information.

03 / CREATE

Turn knowledge into action

Students use AI as a creative and problem-solving material, then explain and present what they have made.

Learning Journey

A pathway from curiosity to capability.

Each year group has a clear progression, moving from AI awareness to practical creation and innovation.

JSS1

Understanding AI

AI concepts, everyday AI and how AI systems learn.

JSS2

Using AI Responsibly

JSS3

Creating with AI

Creative projects, problem-solving and presentation.

SSS1

How AI Actually Works

Deeper concepts behind models, data and AI systems.

Question

Identify errors, bias, misinformation and limitations.

Create

Use AI as a creative and problem-solving tool.

Apply

Write effective prompts and use AI appropriately.

Think

Demonstrate critical thinking and independent judgement.

Present

Communicate and explain the work they create.

Meet the Team

Ingenii Education

Juliet Okafor — Founder & Programme Lead

Ingenii is founded by a team committed to helping young people develop the knowledge, judgement and creativity needed to navigate an AI-shaped world.

Ingenii was created from a simple observation: students are already encountering AI, but many have not been taught how to understand it, question it or use it responsibly.

Our goal is to give students practical AI literacy while keeping human thinking, creativity and judgement at the centre of learning.

Programme Team
Ingenii sessions are delivered by trained facilitators using structured lesson plans, practical activities and age-appropriate learning resources.

The genius in every student.
Safeguarding

Student safety comes first.

Ingenii works with children and young people and takes seriously its responsibility to provide learning experiences that are safe, respectful and age-appropriate.

Safe Learning Environments

Sessions take place within the school's established safeguarding, supervision and student-support arrangements.

Facilitator Standards

Facilitators complete safeguarding orientation, agree to a Code of Conduct and follow host-school procedures.

Student Privacy

We minimise personal information collected and use information only for legitimate programme purposes.

Responsible Technology

Students learn about privacy, online safety, misinformation, harmful content and responsible AI use.

Professional Boundaries

Ingenii does not encourage inappropriate private communication between facilitators and students.

Reporting Concerns

Concerns are raised through the school's designated safeguarding/reporting process and, where appropriate, relevant authorities.
