1. Safe Learning Environments
Ingenii sessions are delivered within the school's established safeguarding and supervision arrangements. We work with school leadership and relevant staff to understand the procedures that apply to student-facing activities.
2. Facilitator Conduct
Facilitators who work with students complete safeguarding orientation, agree to the Ingenii Facilitator Code of Conduct and follow the host school's requirements. Professional, respectful and age-appropriate conduct is expected at all times.
3. Professional Boundaries
Facilitators must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students. Ingenii does not encourage inappropriate private communication or relationships between facilitators and students.
4. Student Privacy
Ingenii aims to minimise personal information collected about students. Student information is used only for legitimate programme purposes and handled with appropriate organisational and technical safeguards.
5. Responsible Technology Use
Because Ingenii teaches AI literacy, students may discuss online safety, privacy, misinformation, harmful content, copyright, bias and responsible use of AI systems. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and guided by facilitators.
6. Reporting Concerns
Where a safeguarding concern arises during an Ingenii programme, it should be raised through the host school's designated safeguarding or reporting process. Where appropriate, concerns may also be referred to the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable requirements.
7. Photography & Student Work
Photographs, videos, names, student examples or other identifiable student work should only be used where appropriate permissions and applicable data-protection requirements have been satisfied.
8. Continuous Review
Safeguarding arrangements should be reviewed as Ingenii expands its delivery, works with new schools or introduces new technologies. School-specific requirements should be agreed before student-facing delivery begins.
